This was a charming but very tired 1970’s bungalow that badly needed some love and care – and most importantly, a complete heating upgrade so it could be shifted from a poor ‘G’ energy rating and be equipped for a more sustainable future.  We achieved a complete modernisation inside and out and the result was a stunning, energy-efficient, light-filled and beautifully-finished home.

The core of the task was the fitting of a complete heating upgrade consisting of a new condensing oil fired boiler and solar panel system. In addition, to ensure energy efficiency we installed internal dry-lining and cavity wall as well as attic insulation:  all installed in accordance with the SEAI’s guidelines and requirements.

To refresh and revive the interior, each room was refurbished with contemporary fixtures and fittings, textiles and colours, reflecting the comfort of its new B1 Energy rating.

Externally the area was transformed with printed concrete and beautiful Tobermore paving in soft neutral tones – inviting the beautiful outside in.
